Note that someone on Google+ indicated that with OpenCL the profiled denoise / luma is way too strong; it's not as strong if OpenCL is disabled. Unfortunately, it seems no redmine bug report has been created for it. I might do it one of these days. AFAIK, there has been no reaction to that post from devs, but it's not the right forum to report bugs, anyway.
