Hi,
*(1)* Using a current build of dev-darktable, on export, I currently
sometimes get completely black images. Not always, but sometimes. It is not
limited to camera, exposure, or some such.
I do not know how to reproduce it --- but it does seem that opening the
image in darktable and changing (for instance) cropping slightly at times
solves the problem. At times not.
Example images (NEF + XMP) available @
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/4bzqme4zb4ftv2o/AAAkzzI8zQ6CQybWmgt9PXpRa?dl=0 As
shown in the jpg, all but one of the example files export completely black
images. Included one which does not export completely black as reference.
*(2)* Sometimes, the exposure shown in darktable is very different
(like +2EV) from what is actually exported. I don't have an example image
available, but can provide one later today.
*(3)* I like the latest development of the exposure module, with the
manual/automatic modes etc. ---But in automatic mode, how do I tell the
module what part of the image it should measure? Currently, I've yet to
find how to select a specific part of the image, always having to resort to
whole image being source of exposure measurement. (Obviously, using blend
isn't an option here, as that would lead to only parts of the image being
exposed with given settings.)
Kind regards,
Kristian
