Thank you for your answer, but using negativ margin and covering the
entire shaded area I always approximately 3 mm margin .I states that
before I crop to print in A4 with cropping module.

Problem with "print" module I can not print borderless!
In the combo I can not find borderless.
There is no such option indeed.
My printer is parameterized borderless cups with 1.7.2 and I can
print without problems with other software.
Mint 17.3
Canon Pixma printer ip8750
Ok, so to print borderless with darktable you can use negative margins.
I never tested this but people here have reported this to be working
fine. In fact the negative margines have been allowed for that.
