Yes. I already put a note when doing debug builds into the --version output 
because of that.

You seem to be confusing OpenCL with OpenMP here. The first is the GPU library 
and not influenced by compiler used while the latter was already tested by the 
ldd call.

A bit, but the compiler (pr compiler flags, like used optimisations) could 
still be a reason. That's why compiling both versions next to each other would 
be helpful.
