Hi Andre,
I run DT from an nfs mounted drive holding the images but with DT installed
locally on my ‘workstation’ and that works very well however I do not believe
there is any multi-user support.
I would suggest trying either (a) Both store the images and install DT itself
on the network drive. Mount this up on each workstation, create a DT user
account on each workstation with its home directory on that same network drive
which should give you a shareable installation – be very careful that you don’t
ever have two workstations running dt at the same time. If necessary call DT
via a script that enforces this.
(b) Split your image collection into four and mount up each part on one
workstation, separately install DT on each workstation and then work
independently, even in parallel, on each to classify the images. Then later
spin up a master DT instance importing each of the four sets of folders. I
think this is the option I would prefer but your choice may be different.
