I find myself using parametric masking on a number of occasions .. and in particular to progressively apply a function to just the highlights or just the shadow areas ... it is a real winner for me. But I do have a small question.
The lightness slider does not appear to be truly progressive. If I want to start the blending from Zone V (for instance) then the slider needs to be moved to a near 85% position to achieve this. Thus there is a loss of sensitivity. I would like comments from others using this form of masking.
