i have no idea about the arch packaging. but 2.1.x is our unstable
series and the number we display to signify that this is an unreleased
version built from a git snapshot that is newer than the released
stable series 2.0.x (next stable will be 2.2.x). so if your arch
package means it is a snapshot from git, it may be just fine.
