Sorry, I was unclear. By "removing sqlite2" I meant simply removing it as an option from configure.in and requiring only sqlite3, not removing the codepaths from the cut-and-pasted code. Then, at some point in the future, porting over to Mono's own Mono.Data.Sqlite.
