thanks, I can insert fields easily thanks. I can see how to make two fields
into a composite index by making them the first fields in a table definition
and setting them to be key fields.

What I cant see is how to create a field in another table which points to that
composite key, as a master/detail link.

Sorry I hadnt made that clear
