Just as an aside to the aside, I have been playing with the
TWebConnection in Delphi 5's midas, and its NICE. Goes over whatever
port you like, you can specify a proxy, use SSL if you need to/are
paranoid, its way better, IMO, than either sockets or DCOM. Definatly
easier than either to setup :)

Definatly worth a look at, if you are into the MIDAS thang.
