I need to prefix this response by saying that the Inprise NZ people who
frequent this list do so simply because they like Delphi, and like to play a
part in the Delphi community. Nic and I contribute because *we* want to.
There is no clause in our employment contracts requiring us to support this
list. We both contributed to the list *prior* to becoming Inprise employees,
and would likely contribute after we leave.
My grumpy response reflects the fact that our postings are NOT official
messages from Inprise NZ -- just from a couple of guys who try to help.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record: Use a search engine!
If I search for "Unsupported language driver" at
http://interbase.mers.com/searchsite.html. I get 16 messages to look
through. One of them says:
> the errors pattern you describe is typical for
> BDE-TUTILITY version mismatch.
> Check whether the version of TUTIL32.DLL
> and BDE version are the same.
and
> Try Database Utilities 1.4 from GJL Software.
...but there are others, including a list of all the error messages that
come out of TUtility

You phone tech support, 0800-442-132.
The other option is to stop using Paradox tables -- especially now that
we're edging closer to an OpenSource Interbase!
