I have to import a textfile of data into an SQL7 table, the data is in the
form:

2/7/99 08:29:09,"CWXX0700P",13.48
2/7/99 08:29:09,"CWXX0700T",17.43
2/7/99 08:29:09,"CWXX0702T",6.88
2/7/99 08:29:09,"CWXX0715A",99.90

At present the code handling it (original code from when it was paradox
based) is reading the file line by line and doing TTable.AppendRecord
(simply modified to use TADOTable thou).

I was thinking about passing the file into an INSERT SQL statement,
putting 100 of so insert commands in a string and passing that to SQL
Server in one go. Although I don't how good that is :)

Does anyone have any suggestions?
