Yes, I'm aware of this problem. Unfortunately, Solaris 10 binaries of
PostgreSQL cannot be used on OpenSolaris for this reason. This would
have been the case with the previous ones too.

Building of community tarballs for OpenSolaris has been put on hold, I
will probably start building for Oracle Solaris 11 Express when that
has been released.
