Dear [email protected],

There is a new reply by AbbyT to the topic at the DataCleaner forum: How to
Uninstall so I can reinstall?

Hey Kasper

I thought this should be added as a new Topic. Getting repeated errors with the
CAPTCHA field trying to add anew.

I wanted to inquire about a change I noticed a few months ago. I notice this
using my old XP with the older DC desktop version but it’s also been consistent
in 3.5.7. It may be nothing, either way it’s worth mentioning. You'd know best
if it’s a bug (known or unknown).

I notice that the Execute button in the Analyzer remains grayed out longer than
expected. I typically used the lazy buttons Select All/None to select Input
columns and only get more selective periodically.
Execute used to activate and deactivate in coordination with the toggling of
the Select All to Select None buttons when selecting Values. Sorry backing up -
this is after adding my table to the source of a new job and selecting an
analyzer; say the Completeness Analyzer for this example. The change is that
now Execute only activates after Value Selections are made individually with
the check mark toggle.

Previous performance used to activate Execute with the first use of the Select
All button, but not anymore. Now, in order to activate Execute I have to toggle
OFF an individual column, at random, to activate the button. Execute will stay
activated when the individual column is toggled back ON. From here onward while
setting up the job Select All will begin to activate Execute with Select None
having the adverse effect. But not without first making that trivial step of
deselecting & reselecting the check mark toggle.

Was this a change made on purpose in a version update, or is this unusual
behavior?

Is there a size limitation in place to prevent processing slowness? If so, are
these limitations expandable from default values? BTW, this test table has 36
columns and 20K records.
