Dennis replied to subject 'Hive/Impala connections won't work' ------------------- Hi Jordan, It should be possible to use the new Hive driver. Try downloading the jar in http://central.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/hive/hive-jdbc/2.1.0/hive-jdbc-2.1.0.jar and copy to your DataCleaner installations modules folder, then restart DataCleaner. If that fails due to dependencies, you can try using the [http://central.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/hive/hive-jdbc/2.1.0/hive-jdbc-2.1.0-standalone.jar standalone JAR] instead, but there's a risk it'll break DataCleaner instead. We're based in Europe, so I can't test right now myself, but I'll get back to you as soon as we've tested the solution. Then we'll look at getting the driver updated. If the new JDBC driver still fails when getting a request for the schema, we'll probably need to get some special handling code into either Datacleaner or Apache MetaModel (the data connectivity library we're using). ------------------- View the topic online to reply - go to https://datacleaner.org/topic/1143/Hive-Impala-connections-won%27t-work -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "DataCleaner-notify" group.
