Sam isn't really involved in the day to day development of DataMapper
or DataObjects. For DO, it's always best to send pull requests to
dbussink on github directly -- if it's not shown on the list there's a
spot to type in the username. If a few days pass and there's been no
activity, feel free to resend the pull request to me on github
(dkubb). If it's Ruby code, I can review and merge it in, but if it's
C it will still probably need to wait for dbussink or someone else
because it's not really my area of expertise.

Each gem maintainer should be handling pull requests directly, with me
acting as a backup in case they are tied up. I think it's good that I
not be the first point of contact though, because I don't want to
become a bottleneck. Plus it's better to have each gem maintainer
review patches because they should have more in-depth knowledge of the
gem than I do, and know better how the patch fits in with the dev
plan.
