This depends on your hardware used, especially how fast your HD system can
handle many concurrent reads. Also depends on search options used (preloading
URL data and search limits, the number of distinct words in query, using word
forms, synonyms, acronyms, segmenting request in east asian llanguages, etc).

At demo site http://www.43n39e.ru/ with a bit more 1 mln. pages indexed with
single PIII 670MHz CPU, 512M RAM and single SATA drive, dpsearch can handle up
to 1.3-1.4 requests per second (most requests are cached, i.e. repeating search
for same query words).

Please note: cached daemon is used only for indexing, searchd can works only
with cached data directly from HD. You may share cached data using a network
system, or simple copy from one PC to another on update.
