I might have missed something here. But do you mean that if you were to Open
a file name in RV, with the value C:\Nul that it then sets the output mode
to WP? Can you choose the output format programmatically?

Sorry for the delayed response.
The only reason for setting the Disk File name to C:\NUL initially is if
you
want to be able to specify that your output file is in WP format. Without
that, the file is output in plain text format.
