Thank you for your help but there is still one aspect which I do not
understand here:
Well, you could use a hybrid of this here. What I call the Code Field
(U1)
would have a Data Link on it. What I call the Description Field (A15, or
whatever) will get its value with a formula that penetrates the Code
Field's
Data Link, to Update On Any Change.
I created a second panel with two fields (a code field and the description
field).
Back in the first panel, for the code field I removed the formula and
created a data link (which works fine). But what I am not clear about is
what formaula I need to enter into the description field of the first
panel. I can penetrate the code field's data link in the first panel.
I would appreciate some help on this point.
