You're close, but no cigar yet.

You can't directly enter the codes into the fields in your 'Codes' panel.
This is because DP doesn't recognize the characters you entered as codes, it
treats them internally as characters.

Instead, you have to create a merge file in WP which has the bold on/off and
underline on/off codes spanning your end field codes. Something like this:

[Bold On][End Field][HRt]
[Bold Off][End Field][HRt]
[Underline On][End Field][HRt]
[Underline Off][End Field][HRt]
[End Record][HPg]

Now you import this (via Ctrl-F5) into your 'Codes' panel.

Try that and see how it works.

Oh, and by the way: in the old STE Manager database the code fields were
formatted as A1A1::N so you couldn't accidentally mess them up. There was
also a dummy field that you landed on when you went into the panel that
didn't do anything other than give the cursor a field to land on. You might
need something like this in your 'Codes' panel.
