Hi Ralph,

Unfortunately that is not it. I do have the numlock on but the keys' actions
are as I've described.

When I do need to use the [-] or [+] signs especially in lookup mode, I have to
always use the [-]/[+] keys on the top row of the keyboard rather than the
numeric keypad on the right.

My experience here is that with NumLock on, the + and - keys yield '+' and '-' respectively when in Browse or Edit Mode, and PgDn and PgUp respectively when in Lookup Mode.

With NumLock off, in Edit mode I notice that the + and - keys act like Tab and Shift-Tab keys respectively. In Browse mode, they act yield '+' and '-' respectively. In Lookup Mode, they act like PgDn and PgUp respectively.

Looks like Lookup Mode isn't going to work the way you want. You need to use the top row of keys for '+' and '-'.
