This is something Brian touched on sometime ago and I've been trying to work on it off and on, but thus far have been frustrated.
I'm trying to have a user populate a data field (ticket number) on a web page, then send it to a DP database on my local machine where specific data attached to that ticket number will be sent back to the user. My website hosting is outsourced and not on my local machine. Is this possible or does the web hosting have to be on the same local machine or network as the DP database? As always, this group's guidance is much appreciated.
