Hi Malkie I thought exactly the same, for the same reason, but when I tried it, it treated the -1 as a 1 and gave the first word of the field..
Don > Don, you say there's no easy way to do this. The reason I assumed > there would be a simpler solution was because I think of DataPerfect > as a family or branch of WordPerfect.
