Hi Gerard,
DP can sends its output to StdOut or to a file. The Windows clip.exe program can take the piped out and store it to the clipboard thus achieving what you want. As a quick demonstration open a Command window ie run cmd.exe Find a test file eg myfile.txt and type it and pipe it to clip.exe eg type myfile.txt | clip It is then stored as text in the Windows clipboard. So you can either use the oiutput from DP directly, or with a little scripting or batch programming you could pick up DP output files that are dropped into an output folder and pipe them to clip.exe Regards Brian _____ From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Gerard van Loenhout Sent: Wednesday, 9 June 2010 6:36 PM To: Dataperfect Users Discussion Group Subject: [Dataperf] Export to Windows clipboard Hello all, I posted a request about export to the Windows clipboard about a year ago and since no one really reacted I guess I'm the only one who wants to use this. Still, if ever there is going to be a new DP version, I would love this feature in it. Instead of sending a report to a printer, a file or the shell (DOS) clipboard I woul like to send a report to the Windows clipboard. Here's a link about the subject: http://www.frontiernet.net/~fys/clipbrd.htm Regards Gerard van Loenhout
