Hi Gerard,

 

DP can sends its output to StdOut or to a file. The Windows clip.exe program
can take the piped out and store it to the clipboard thus achieving what you
want. 

 

As a quick demonstration open a Command window ie run cmd.exe

 

Find a test file eg myfile.txt and type it and pipe it to clip.exe  eg

type myfile.txt | clip

 

It is then stored as text in the Windows clipboard.

 

So you can either use the oiutput from DP directly, or with a little
scripting or batch programming you could pick up DP output files that are
dropped into an output folder and pipe them to clip.exe

Hello all,

 

I posted a request about export to the Windows clipboard about a year ago
and since no one really reacted I guess I'm the only one who wants to use
this.

Still, if ever there is going to be a new DP version, I would love this
feature in it.

 

Instead of sending a report to a printer, a file or the shell (DOS)
clipboard I woul like to send a report to the Windows clipboard.
