Gerard, My sympathies. Although my wife and I aren't really soccer fans (being American football fans and all) we happened to be in Glasgow last year on the day when the Netherlands played Scotland for qualification for the World Cup competition. It was a beautiful sunny day and both sides were really ramped up for the game. Or at least drunk enough. There were hundreds of your countrymen dressed in orange kilts and many with red wigs walking down the streets to mock the Scots. It was hysterical. So we watched the match in the hotel that evening and while I admit we rooted for the "home" team while in Scotland we rooted for you down the line.
