Hi Victor, mmm... problematic.... When you create a hybrid of data types in a field you can run into problems. If I am working with HTML/XML then I treat Memo fields (format AxAz) as HTML/XML without any DP bold or italics/underline. The ;;W handles the DP text attributes well if you do not have any other HTML code. I am presuming that you have other HTML tags and the opening and closing < > are being converted to their entities and coming out as literal text rather than tags. If so and the bold and italics aren't not crucial then I think I would be outputting without the ;;W print format, and losing these attributes. I have not ever really worked with the DP bold and underline, so I am unsure whether it is possible to search for this DP markup. I suspect not.
Not sure where that leave you... I do want the conversion of entries such as those you mention (as well as bold and italic to their html equivalents). However as text also appear "<" and ">" and wonder if it is possible for them to appear "as is".
