Subject: [Dataperf] Network Problem
Hi;
I've been using DP for many years and for many clients without the
need of a network. Now I have to install this program to run on a
network on Windows XP but it doesn't work properly.
1) Running DP via dp.exe works fine with the following commandline:
\\main\f\DP26F\DP23\dp.exe, except that the Pathname in DP always has
to be entered manually even though I provided the name of the folder
this program will load from in the Working field on the desktop icon:
\\main\f\DP26F\Test.
2) When running DP under Shell through the network I get the error
message "invalid drive was specified" even when I click directly on
shell.exe or shell.com via the network.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Malkie

Map \\main\f to a drive letter such as F:
Then run F:\DP26F\DP23\dp.exe.
