I have seen the same error about authorization. Rebooting resolves the problem. 
I haven't seen any data corruption (yet). Recently I have seen a lot more 
network busy messages than I used to and also an error that refers to a problem 
with file locking. I am running DP under Windows 7 (32 bit) and WindowServer 
2008.
