I have seen the same error about authorization. Rebooting resolves the problem. I haven't seen any data corruption (yet). Recently I have seen a lot more network busy messages than I used to and also an error that refers to a problem with file locking. I am running DP under Windows 7 (32 bit) and WindowServer 2008.
