Hi Brian,

Apologies for not replying sooner.

Bruce has been an unbelievable resource in delivering Web 1.0 pages from DP.

I am driving to Salt Lake City tomorrow to spend a week + exploring
delivering Web 2.0 pages from DP which we are using as a CMS - Content
Management System.

I am very interested in collaborating with you.

Will keep you posted on our progress and look forward to your chimes.

All the best,
Tony

Hi Tony,

Is this something we could collaborate on. I have been using the same basic
methodology for dynamic DP web pages for the last 6 years. I am due for an
update :-)

Bye
Brian

FWIW, in working with Bruce Conrad to upgrade DP Reports to newer web
conventions, I learned that some original HTML codes have been "re-
somethinged" and are no longer recognized by some of the newer browsers.
Using &apos could be one of these cases.

Brian's suggestion is a good one.

Make sure you try it on a new instance of the DP app and have a back up of
the old one.

Best of luck!

Tony

Hi Barry,

This has come up before. From memory, open DP.exe with a hex editor, search
for apos and replace it with #039. Brutal but effective.

Brian

Subject: [Dataperf] &apos html code

Does anyone know if Lew has modified the html code to use &#39 rather than
&apos for the apostrophy (')? I have a few html reports that I have to
manually change the code to &#39. I have only just started to use html
reports and like it so far. Is there a way for me to change the code in DP?

Thanks,
Barry
