Hi Brian, Apologies for not replying sooner.
Bruce has been an unbelievable resource in delivering Web 1.0 pages from DP. I am driving to Salt Lake City tomorrow to spend a week + exploring delivering Web 2.0 pages from DP which we are using as a CMS - Content Management System. I am very interested in collaborating with you. Will keep you posted on our progress and look forward to your chimes. All the best, Tony -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Brian Hancock Sent: Monday, September 12, 2011 4:25 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Dataperf] &apos html code Hi Tony, Is this something we could collaborate on. I have been using the same basic methodology for dynamic DP web pages for the last 6 years. I am due for an update :-) Bye Brian -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Tony Perez Sent: Tuesday, 13 September 2011 3:18 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Dataperf] &apos html code FWIW, in working with Bruce Conrad to upgrade DP Reports to newer web conventions, I learned that some original HTML codes have been "re- somethinged" and are no longer recognized by some of the newer browsers. Using &apos could be one of these cases. Brian's suggestion is a good one. Make sure you try it on a new instance of the DP app and have a back up of the old one. Best of luck! From memory, open DP.exe with a hex editor, search for apos and replace it with #039. Brutal but effective. I have a few html reports that I have to manually change the code to '. I have only just started to use html reports and like it so far. Is there a way for me to change the code in DP?
