That's a good idea.
We already copied the database to each computer as a temporary
measure. Now we just have to add the transaction log part, as
you suggested.
Tomorrow I'll write a couple of batch files to help do it.
It now occurred to me that the batch files could automate the
process completely. The KEYSTACK feature of 4DOS ("Purpose: Feed
keystrokes to a program or command automatically") could do the
[Shift]-[F9],6 and [Shift]-[F9],7 key pressing for us.
I have used KEYSTACK for years at home to automate DP reports,
and it has always worked.
