After reading Brian's comment that "it is a lot easier using VDos for running DP . . . " I thought I'd give it a try on a Windows 7 machine. I was able to download it and unzip it without a problem and able to bring up the sample applications without incident. Then I played with the autoexc.bat in order to be able to access some of my voter databases and was able to accomplish that.
The problem I'm running into is in my larger panels - those with 800,000+ records - which don't come up correctly. The video seems to be jumping around and in upper "help" section the normal "Browsing Record" is truncated with a string of numbers that run to the point where "F7" starts. This problem only shows up in the panels with a lot of records in them, in panels with 28,000 or 33,000 records there's no problem.
