Job Title : Sr Front End Developer
Location: Boston MA or Piscataway NJ (must be local to either location)
Duration: 6-12 Months+
New req. !
* Expert level skills in hand-coded, valid W3C HTML, XHTML, DHTML, JSP
and CSS layout (we are a nearly table free environment)
* Expert level knowledge and skills JavaScript and DHTML from scratch
as well as existing libraries.
* DOM scripting and AJAX front end development and manipulation
* Expert ability to make all front end code Section 508 accessible
following best practices and checklists such as those promoted by
WebAIM
* Working knowledge of Photoshop for image slicing and output optimization
* Interest and ability to learn and implement new technologies and
programming approaches.
* Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
* Proven organization, communication and collaboration skills.
* Familiarity with core UX programming concepts and practices.
* Bachelors degree in a related field such as Computer Sciences, or
User Experience Design with 3 - 4 years of experience, or an
equivalent of 6 years or more of related work experience.
