So, I immagine this interest people there:). As for the date, it is
not casual... If people at PAUSE get on with giving me the namespace,
I'd like to upload it on next Sunday, for the anniversary of Rome
foundation... :)

I'd like to ask what the list feels should be added to the module. I'm
thinking about:

  -- add an 'epoch' switch to new, to allow initialization from time() 
     result;
  -- add methods to get yesterday or tomorrow date, or, more
     generally:
  -- add methjods to add/subtract a given number of days/weeks/years
     to a date.
