I see.  As long as its not fixed to 1582 I think calling it Christian is
fine, since it reflects the changes introduced into the calendar by
various Christian churches at various times.

Although then I think of Eastern Orthodox and wonder what their take on
this would be.  Any Eastern Orthodox folk on the list want to speak up?
