Look, if you a configured DNS server in your machine, XMail will _not_ use that one but it'll try to perform DNS queries by itself. If a firewall is blocking outbound port 53 traffic, XMail will fail in its attempt. If you have a DNS server configured in your network, you have to set it inside the server.tab variable "SmartDNSHost".
