Kevin,
The current RTC driver works with the existing MSP430 firmware
and takes care of this AM/PM anomalay. Loc will be in a position to
comment whether the new MSP430 firmware is available on the production
boards.
Current RTC driver will work with the new MSP430 firmware also.
