I am also having the problem using TFTP to boot the new uImage from my dev server. Once I followed the instruction of using tftp and put the new uImage from Dvevm1.10 to /tftpboot/uImage, and set other booting related envrironment, and then issue the boot command,
the evm keeps spitting out BOOTP broadcast 1 BOOTP broadcast 2 ..... BOOTP broadcast 10 Retry count exceeded: starting again, it seems it couldn't establish with my dev box's tftp server, which i checked it is on and no firewall is blocking. thanks for any help. alan --- "Ring, Chris" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > What technique is not working for you in DVEVM 1.10? > > While we did add some additional tracing techniques > (look for > "TraceUtil" in the Codec Engine Application > Developer's Guide), these > new utilities are built _on top of_ the original > techniques.
