I have a Davinci DVEVM board with Device Revision Code: TMX320 DM6446BZWT and U-Boot 1.1.3 (Mar 15 2006 - 11:42:19)
I downloaded u-boot source code at DVEVM sofware updates a few days ago and I want to update my board to this new version.
Because of the serious warning: "If these instructions are not followed exactly or the upgrade fails for any reason, the board may have to be sent in for repair.", could someone please confirm for me ...
I think I can use file: "u-boot-594-nor.bin" to flash my board. Am I right?
Is there any modifications I should do or I can built and flash uboot with original source code from TI's page?
