Hi Kevin,
We just purchased full license Montavista pro 4.0 package.
From the “Quick Start Guide”, it said that should choice the RedHat
Enterprise Linux WS3.0/4.0 for host computer. We currently run the
Demonstration Version on RedHat Fedora5.0. So Do we have to purchase
that new Linux Ws3.0/4.0?
Or the Fedora5.0 is good enough?
Thanks,
Andy Wang

The RedHat version 4 that is sent as a package of CD's from Redhat does
not include the source files for the kernel. I found this out when I
wanted to recompile the kernel to add some serial device driver support.
Even better, the source files are NOT available for my version of the
kernel, even from Red Hat. I have to update my kernel, which I just
purchased from Red Hat, before I can get source code to allow me to
recompile.
