I use XDS510PP plus and I have some similar problems. I resolve my problem just changing "Emulator port speed" in the sdconfig. I put this value to 8 or much and all start working fine. I read somewhere that this is related to host cpu speed and I think to the parallel port. I don't know if USB version suffer same problems. Emanuele
