Hi all, I've been skimming through all the posts that talked about creating a JFFS2 filesystem on the NOR flash. I got bits here and there from all you posts but I'm still confused and unclear as how to do it. Is there a TI document that talks about this and shows us how to do so? In particular,
1) How to create a JFFS2 filesystem and where to get the utility? 2) What changes do I need to make to U-boot? Patches? 3) What changes do I need to make to the Linux kernel? Patches? I know there's a document out that shows how to create a ramdisk (small filesystem with web server); is there a similar one that show how to create a JFFS2 image out of the root directory for programming onto the NOR flash? I'm not using the GIT version of the kernel but am using the Montavista Pro edition that came with the DVSDK software. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Regards, Andy
