Hi,
I think that if you want acquire from a ccd (more correctly CMOS) you
must modify media/video kernel drivers. Now, I think, are to much
vertical versus TVP5146 in the DVEVM. I have created a driver for
MT9M001C12STM but I can't test it because the hardware should arrive. In
every case it is difficult to remain completely inside the v4l2 spec.
For example my sensor is 1280 x 1024 x 10 bits... and this format it is
out of v4l standard.
If someone is interested to this, just ask.

Yes, you are right about that "SPRAA52".
By following all the information as mentioned in "SPRAA52", I
suppose you can connect this DaVinci DVEVM with Mt9t001 CIS.
And I already did it successfully!
And regarding those Linux drivers (I2C, CCDC...), I have
contacted technical service guys in ti and they replied that,
"they are working for a demo device driver and will release it
1Q07. They remove a lot information in the VPSS data sheet if
you have old version and compared it with current version.
I also have a prototype drivers for my project so far but the
performance still need improvement. And I am working on this ?

for more detailed information include schematic.
If you have more questions, please let me know.
Also you have to pay attention to DC4 pin 2.
