Subject: u-boot: Copying Ramdisk from Nand flash
Hello everyone,
We are trying to run the kernel with the root file
system in RAM. We already have stored our RAM disk on
our NAND partition. We also have created a uImage with
RAM disk and initrd support.
This is the set of u-boot commands we give:
setenv bootargs console=ttyS0,115200n8 ip=dhcp
root=/dev/ram0 rw initrd=0x85000000,6M
setenv bootcmd ‘bootm 0x20500000’
boot
Now, the question is:
how do we copy the RAM disk image that is in NAND to
the address 0x85000000 specified in the bootargs?
Regards
Suba.
