Hi,
UART2 is working for us. A nice summary of the changes needed is described here: (this is for UART1; it should also work for UART2) http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED] om/msg02308.html -Ronald ________________________________ From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, September 06, 2007 11:28 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Enabling UART2 on DaVinci Hello, I'm trying to enable UART2 on the DaVinci. I have UART0 setup to be the console, and would like to use the UART2 to communicate with an external device. I am able to get the kernel to allocate MMIO to the serial port, but I do not see data going through. # cat /proc/tty/driver/serial serinfo:1.0 driver revision: 0: uart:16550A mmio:0x01C20000 irq:40 tx:3036 rx:524 RTS|CTS|DTR|DSR 1: uart:16550A mmio:0x01C20400 irq:41 tx:0 rx:0 CTS|DSR 2: uart:16550A mmio:0x01C20800 irq:42 tx:0 rx:0 CTS|DSR 3: uart:unknown port:00000000 irq:0 I was able to get to the point this thread got: http://osdir.com/ml/linux.davinci/2006-12/msg00070.html But I still can't send or receive data out of UART 2 or 1. Thank you for your help. Du
