We have been having some problems with the IR control on our DVEVM and are starting to suspect the firmware running on the MSP430. We believe we have seen bogus or corrupt codes, as well as possibly losing protocol sync. We would appreciate help with the following: 1 - Has anyone else seen or had problems with the MSP430 IR control? 2 - What protocol (RC5, RC6, RCMM) is implemented on the MSP430, and is the implementation robust? 3 - Is there newer firmware available for loading on the MSP430? 4 - What loader hardware do we need, and is there any documentation for loading new code onto the MSP430?
