Antonio,

As Dirk points out there is an application called DVFlasher that may be used to perform this task over the serial port, however the version used by the Davinci board will not work on the DM355 due some differences on the magic signature used for the UBL.

There is another option if you already have a standard ARM JTAG (if no, you can get a cheap Olimex OpenOCD based by less than $100 if I recall correctly). you can use the "setup" program of the bootloader provided by the RidgeRun free SDK for DM355. This is a small firmware you can load on IRAM to perform the low level init, and after that you can load u-boot image and burn it to flash (I have done that several times). If you are interested on this idea I can provide you more information.

Hello,

I am starting working with dm355 EVM, and one question arises: Is there's any other way to load uBoot without Code Composer Studio?? Is there any open-source aplication do perform this?
It seems a waste having to buy CCS only to load the flash with uBoot.

Best Regards,
