Connecting the emulator is a bit triky and needs you to do several things in a certain order to work properly. I don't remember that "order", but it was something like: first swich on the board, then connect the emulator, then open CCS, then ... If you do that things in a different order then emulator may not work. Tell us if you find the right sequence!
