Hi there. Did you ever resolve your frame buffer issues? I'm having what seems to be a very similar problem working with the dm355 and a 240x400 LCD. Looking at all the video lines on a scope shows that I'm only getting about a 3rd of the data I'd expect per vsync.
Specifically, I wrote a test program to create an rgb tes image where I simply write bars along the screen. It displays the first 240 pixels just fine, but if I try to display 2 full bars (480 pixels), the data doesn't even clock out of the davinci. It's not until I write > 3 bars (721 or more pixels) that I can see the 2nd bar on the display. I have no idea why the davinvi is just eating that data and not outputting it. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
