I have been trying to use Sergey's UBL on my DM355 EVM without success.
As I read around more I am coming to the conclusion that most people on
this mailing list, writing the wiki and writing open-source utilities
etc are using the DM64xx family. Also the word "davinci" is used to mean
"DM64xx family". I am guessing that Sergey's UBL is written for the
DM64xx and that's why it doesn't run.

My plan is now to look at the sources for the TI DM355 UBL and those of
Sergey's UBL, and play spot the difference in how it's talking to the
hardware. I'm intending to work on porting Sergey's bootloader to DM355,
then look at modifying it to load from SD card which the DM355 RBL
supports. I would be interested in sharing this work with the community
if I get anywhere.

I have a hardware JTAG device on the way to try and get me started with
OpenOCD and GDB, but I haven't hacked boot loaders or ARM assembler
before and am generally in over my head :)

If anyone has any clues or could confirm my suspicions e.g. comments
like "yes we all use DM64xx, good luck modifying the UBL's", or even
better "here's an opensource DM355 UBL!" then I'd be glad to hear them.

Thanks,
