Hi ,

Its not analog video as such.
It will get encoded into h264 at the Slave Davinci and Audio also in the
same fashion.
Then transfer it into Host Davinci thur PCI. thats the moto.
So here ,

Davinci slave: (Capture Chip):-
------------------------------------------------
         4 Video in h264 Encoded
         4 Audios in Compressed

Davinci Host(Display/Streamer Chip):-
-------------------------------------------------------------
Stream 4 Channel (A+V)
Decode/Display 4 Channel

This is the situation. So, Rather than 4 Analog video, here we have 4 Video
+ 4 Audio (Both encoded) to be transfered in PCI. So its more than 30Mbps
for all video and Audio.
but we think of using ata-hdd with PCI for saving the stream again. so
altogether purpose we need PCI to be used in this manner.

If the DVEVM can be connected as a PCI device to Normal Linux PC and at the
same time it can support PCI interface as a Host , can thi sbe achieved ?
I'm worried about , if Davinci PCI driver can support both at same time, ie
support PCI slace davinci and support ATA HD slave at PCI ?

Regards,
Renjith.
